Jolien graduated from the University of Brussels in 2020, after completing an MSc in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. She loves all aspects of physiotherapy and enjoys treating injuries sustained in all areas of the body, specifically upper and lower body. She has spent time working alongside the team at the Jersey General Hospital, where she gained valuable experience on how to care for patients pre, during and post hip and knee replacements and in all other surgical procedures. During her time at university she gained experience in the treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries whilst working alongside amateur and professional athletes, including the Belgian national hockey and beach volleyball team. Jolien has a passion for helping people/athletes get back to the level of activity they were prior to injury whether that be recreational activity or elite sport.

Jolien’s passion has always been sports and specifically playing tennis, which led to her playing at a national level in Belgium as well as playing college tennis in the United States. In addition to playing, she has obtained her qualification as a tennis coach and has been coaching juniors and adults for over 10 years. Due to her passion for movement Jolien has also gone on to achieve her Strength and Conditioning qualification, so is well equipped to deal with all aspects of health, rehabilitation and wellness.
