Settling payments
Freedom Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre is open to all patients whether you are self funding or those who have private medical insurance. Any patients who are self funding we kindly ask you to settle your bill at the time of your appointment. Any fees not settled at the time of your appointment will incur a fee.
Short Notice Cancellation or Missed Appointment Policy

Our goal is to provide a high quality and effective service in a timely manner. You will be aware that we are a busy clinic with appointments being in high demand. We politely request your give us at least 24 hours notice for appointment re-scheduling so it will allow another client to have treatment sooner. For those wishing to cancel an appointment on a Monday, notification must be given on the previous Friday.

If you do not attend or cancel a pre-booked appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, we reserve the right to charge you directly a fee of £40. If you are insured, this fee cannot be charged to your insurance company.

Freedom Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre understands that things crop up in people’s lives that are unexpected. While we are truly sympathetic, we as a team, cannot absorb the financial responsibility of last-minute cancellations or missed appointments.

In fairness to all clients, this policy is in effect regardless of the reason for the cancellation

Private Insurance Policy Holders
Freedom Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre has existing contractual agreements with all the major insurance providers. In order for you to receive treatment with a member of our physiotherapy team we kindly ask you to ensure you have your Provider Membership Number and Individualised Authorisation code when calling the clinic to make your first appointment. Without this information you may be eligible for costs if this information is not obtained prior to your first appointment. In the majority of cases, or unless you advise us not to, we will send your treatment bills directly to your insurance provider. Therefore it is vitally important you are able to provide us with the above information. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to gain authorisation for the treatment you intend to receive. If you are unable to provide us with this information, we will ask you to settle the bill in clinic and we can then provide you with a receipt so you can then claim this back from the Insurance Provider yourselves. In the event your private medical insurance prevents you from having your treatment covered, the self funding rate will then be applied. Any shortfalls or excesses in your policy are your responsibility and Freedom Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre will not be responsible for any charges imposed on you by your insurance company for failure to attend or missed appointments. If you require our individual authorisation codes, please contact the clinic and we will happily provide you with these details.
